Zoho CRM
Send every caller to your Zoho CRM as a lead, with the details your agent collects on the call, and choose which Zoho field each detail goes into.
On this page
After every call, your agent's collected details arrive in Zoho CRM as a new lead. Nobody retypes a caller's name, number or reason for calling.
Your email, SMS, Slack and Google Chat alerts keep working exactly as they do today. Zoho is in addition to them, not instead of them.
Where to find it
Dashboard → Agents → open the agent → Integrations → Zoho CRM.
The Zoho CRM card appears when your plan includes Zoho CRM. If your plan does not, it is listed under Available on other plans with an Upgrade button, or contact support and we can switch it on for your agent.
Press Set up on the card to connect, or Manage once it is sending leads. Owners and managers of the agent can both use it.
What you need
| What | Where from | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A Zoho CRM account | The account your leads should land in |
| 2 | The Data Operations MCP server, installed | In Zoho CRM, open MCP Server, then Install on the Data Operations card |
| 3 | Its MCP server URL | Shown once Data Operations is installed. It looks like https://zoho-crm-data-operations-....zohomcp.com/mcp/.../message |
| 4 | A Zoho login that can approve apps | Used once, to approve Voksha |
Zoho's own region shows in the address: zohomcp.com, zohomcp.in, zohomcp.eu and the other regions all work.
Connecting
- Paste your Data Operations URL into Zoho MCP server URL and press Save URL.
- Press Connect Zoho. You are taken to Zoho.
- Sign in if Zoho asks, check what Voksha is asking for, and press Accept.
- Zoho sends you back to the same page, which now says Connected.
That is the whole setup. Voksha picks Zoho's create-record tool and a sensible starting field mapping for you, and switches sending on.
Send a test lead
Once connected, press Send test lead. A lead called Voksha Test appears in Zoho CRM's Leads within a few seconds, filled in from your agent's current collected details with obvious sample values: a phone number of 5550100 and an email of [email protected].
It proves the connection and your field mapping without waiting for a real call. Delete it in Zoho once you have seen it. If it does not arrive, the page tells you why in plain words.
What gets sent
Only your agent's collected details. Nothing else: no call summary, no recording, no values Voksha makes up.
| You collect | It lands in Zoho as |
|---|---|
| The caller's name, for example Client Name | First Name and Last Name, split on the last space |
| A phone number | Phone |
| An email address | |
| Anything else, for example insurance or call reason | A line in Description, like Call Reason: new client intake |
That is the starting mapping. Change any of it under Field mapping below.
A detail the caller never gave is left empty in Zoho, never filled with "Unknown".
Field mapping
The Field mapping section lists every detail your agent collects, each with a dropdown of where it goes in Zoho.
| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Full name (split into First and Last Name) | One full name is split into Zoho's two name fields |
| Description | Added to the lead's notes as a Label: value line |
| Any Zoho Lead field | The value goes straight into that field |
| Don't send | The detail is not sent to Zoho |
The list of Zoho fields is read live from your Zoho CRM, so your own custom fields appear by name, for example an Insurance Carrier field your team added. If Zoho cannot be asked at that moment, the dropdown shows the standard Lead fields instead and says so.
Press Save mapping when you are done. The next lead uses it.
The name is required
Zoho CRM does not allow a lead without a Last Name. So:
- Your agent must collect the caller's name. Keep a detail such as Client Name under Configure, Call Details, and map it to Full name or Last Name. Without one, the Zoho page shows a warning, and Save mapping stays off until a detail is sent to a name field.
- A caller who never gives a name does not become a lead. That call still reaches you by email and chat as usual, so nobody is lost. It just is not created in Zoho.
What the status means
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Not set up | No URL saved yet | Paste your Data Operations URL |
| Ready to connect | URL saved, not approved yet | Press Connect Zoho |
| Connected | Every caller is sent to Zoho as a lead | Nothing. The time of the last lead shows underneath |
| Needs reconnecting | Zoho signed Voksha out, for example after the approval was revoked | Press Reconnect Zoho |
| Connected, but cannot create leads | The URL is for a read-only server | Replace it with the Data Operations URL |
The Last lead line under the status shows when the most recent lead was sent, and if one failed, the reason Zoho gave.
Changing your mind
- Replace URL switches to a different Zoho MCP server. The old approval is dropped and sending pauses until you press Connect Zoho again. Your field mapping is kept.
- Disconnect stops sending leads. Your URL and field mapping are kept, so reconnecting later is one click.
