The website widget

Put a click-to-call button on your own site, so a visitor reaches your agent without dialling.

On this page

A small script you paste into your website. It puts a call button on the page, and pressing it rings your agent.

Where to find it

Dashboard → Agents → open the agent → Configure → Contact Widget.

What has to be true first

The widget only appears once the agent is Active and has a phone number. Until then the section tells you so, because a button that dials nothing is worse than no button.

Adding it to your site

Press the copy icon in the corner of the code block, then paste the snippet into your site's HTML just before the closing </body> tag. It is one <script> tag and it loads on its own, so it will not hold up the rest of the page.

The snippet already carries your agent's number and a label. The rest of the attributes are yours to change:

Attribute What it controls
data-phone The number the button dials. Already filled in with your agent's
data-label The text on the button. Defaults to the number, formatted
data-brand-color The button colour
data-text-color The colour of the text on it
data-position Which side of the screen it sits on, left or right

Change the colours to your own and the button stops looking borrowed.

What a visitor sees

A call button, fixed to the side of the page. Pressing it dials your agent the same way a phone call does, so the call appears in Calls with the same recording, transcript, summary and collected details as any other.
