How do we teach Voksha our menu, daily specials, and happy hour times?

You give Voksha your menu the same way you'd brief a new host on their first shift, except it only needs to be told once and it doesn't forget. During setup you upload your menu, a PDF export from your POS, a link to your online menu, or just typed-in sections, along with prices, common modifications, and anything staff get asked about constantly, like which dishes can be made gluten-free or what your regulars usually order off-menu.

Daily and weekly specials, happy hour windows, and seasonal menu changes are updated through your Voksha dashboard, it's a text edit, not a re-integration, so a manager can update the soup of the day or swap in a new happy hour menu in a couple of minutes before opening. This isn't a live POS sync that automatically pulls in 86'd items in real time mid-shift, so if you run out of the salmon at 8pm, that still needs a manual update or a quick note to staff to mention it if a guest asks when picking up an order.

For restaurants with a complex or frequently rotating menu, a seasonal tasting menu, a rotating list of draft beers, it's worth assigning one person, often a manager or the chef, to own menu updates in Voksha the same way they'd own updating a physical menu board or the online ordering platform, so the information callers hear always matches what's actually being served that night.
