Can Voksha add orders directly into our POS, or does staff need to re-enter them?

Right now, Voksha doesn't write orders directly into your POS system's order queue, whether that's Toast, Square, Clover, or another platform, because most POS systems don't offer open APIs for third-party order injection the way, say, a calendar platform does. Staff still enter the final order into your POS, but the meaningful difference is what they're entering from.

Instead of a server scribbling a phone order on a ticket while running between tables, or trying to remember a modification a customer mentioned mid-order, Voksha hands off a complete, confirmed order summary, exact items, modifications, quantities, and the total it already calculated and repeated back to the customer for confirmation. That's the step that eliminates the classic order-accuracy failure: a $65 phone order that becomes a wrong order and an unhappy customer because whoever took it was distracted.

For a lot of restaurants, this still saves meaningful staff time even without direct POS injection, because someone isn't stepping away from the line or the floor to answer the phone and take the order live, Voksha's already done that, and entry into the POS at a slower moment takes far less time than a rushed live phone order would have. If direct POS integration is a hard requirement for your restaurant's workflow, it's worth discussing your specific POS setup during onboarding, since integration depth varies by platform and Voksha is continuing to build out deeper POS connections.
