Booker + Voksha: Book Salon and Spa Appointments by Phone
Voksha answers your calls, quotes genuine open times from Booker and books the appointment before the call ends, so it lands in your Booker diary like any other booking.
What is an AI receptionist with Booker?
Voksha connects to Booker so your AI receptionist can book salon and spa appointments by phone. You connect it yourself from the Voksha dashboard on Premium or Enterprise, using credentials from your own Booker API account. Voksha reads your treatments, how long each one takes and which staff perform them, quotes real open times from your Booker site, takes the caller's details, creates the customer record and books the appointment before the call ends. The booking appears in your Booker diary with its own booking number, just as if a receptionist had entered it. Voksha does not cancel Booker appointments by phone; you cancel from your Booker diary.
Plans and setup: Integrations are included on the Premium and Enterprise plans (not Starter). Connect Booker yourself from the Voksha dashboard.
How It Works
Voksha + Booker Together.
What happens on a call once Booker is connected (Premium and Enterprise plans).
Knows Your Treatments
Voksha reads your Booker treatments, how long each one takes and which staff perform it, so callers are booked for the right service with the right person.
Quotes Real Open Times
Voksha asks Booker for genuine availability and reads the open times to the caller.
Checks Again Before Booking
A time offered is checked again with Booker at the moment of booking. If a walk-in took it while the caller was spelling their name, the caller hears that the time has just gone and is offered the next one.
Creates the Customer and the Booking
Voksha takes the caller's details, creates the customer record in Booker and books the appointment, which shows in your Booker diary with its own booking number.
Benefits of Voksha + Booker.
Callers Booked While Your Team Works
Calls that come in while stylists and therapists are with clients are answered and booked instead of going to voicemail.
No Promises Your Diary Will Refuse
Because every time is checked again before it is booked, callers are not told about a slot that has already gone.
Only Treatments That Can Be Booked
Voksha only offers treatments Booker has verified as visible in online booking, so your agent never names a treatment that can never have a time.
Connect It Yourself
Enter your Booker API details in the Voksha dashboard. Voksha checks them against Booker before saving.
Real-World Use Cases.
Busy Saturday at the Salon
Every chair is full and the phone keeps ringing. Voksha answers each caller, finds an open time with the stylist they ask for and books it into Booker.
Day Spa Treatments
A caller wants a 90-minute massage. Voksha knows how long that treatment takes and which therapists perform it, and books a time that fits.
After-Hours Bookings
A client calls at 9 PM to book a cut and colour. Voksha quotes open times from Booker, books the one they choose, and the appointment is waiting in your diary in the morning.
Setup
How to Connect Voksha
to Booker.
Voksha is live in under 5 minutes by forwarding your existing number, and you connect Booker yourself from the dashboard. Here is the full sequence.
Gather your Booker API details
From your own Booker API account: location id, personal access token, client id and client secret, and both subscription keys. Add a brand id if your login covers several locations.
Open Integrations in Voksha
In the Voksha dashboard, go to Agents, open your agent, choose Integrations and then Booker.
Use the right subscription keys
Put the customer key in the customer box and the merchant key in the merchant box. Availability and booking use the customer key.
Save and let Voksha check
Voksha checks your credentials against Booker before saving the connection.
Make a test call
Call your Voksha number, ask for a treatment and check the booking appears in your Booker diary.
Yes, on the Premium and Enterprise plans. You connect Booker yourself from the Voksha dashboard. Voksha quotes real open times from your Booker site and books the appointment during the call, and it appears in your Booker diary with its own booking number.
No. Voksha never cancels a Booker appointment by phone, because a caller can easily be wrong about which appointment they mean. You cancel from your Booker diary, where you can see what you are cancelling.
Details from your own Booker API account: your location id, a personal access token (created in your Booker portal under Settings, and shown only once), your client id and client secret, and both subscription keys, one for the merchant API and one for the customer API. If your login covers several locations, you also need a brand id.
Booker has two online booking settings on every treatment. Voksha only offers treatments that are verified as visible in online booking, because the others never return open times. If a treatment is missing, check that setting in Booker first.
No. Booker is a separate Mindbody product with its own accounts, so it has its own connector in Voksha. Each Voksha agent books into one calendar or booking tool at a time.
Premium ($99/month, 150 calls included) or Enterprise. Starter ($14/month) has no integrations and does not book appointments: it answers every call, captures the caller's details and sends you a call summary. The full setup guide is at https://voksha.com/docs/connectors/booker.
